Who to look for to spice up your business creatively?
One issue I noticed about creative field is that clients are usually non-creative and they might not actually know who they should look for when it comes to hiring.
Here's for non-creatives to understand better who you should be looking for to spice up your business!
*Unless the designer themselves master the field too
🔎Graphic designer (usually all static designs), they can do:
- i) Branding and visual identity (yes, we use colors, text styles and design elements to make your brand unique and visually communicate your brand to the targeted audience)
- ii) Marketing and advertising design (we do printed designs, social media, ads banner, etc. We can do copywriting*, photography* and video editing* too but we aren’t the real pro in these)
- iii) Photo editing (eg. touch up photos, photos manipulation)
- iv) Website & mobile app design (we can design the look, feel, and layout of your website/app, not really to code* it for you)
-
v) Motion graphics (we know some animation*, but
not as much. Check this out for the difference between motion graphics and
animation https://motioncue.com/difference-between-motion-graphics-and-animation-explained-with-examples/
)
🔎Multimedia designer (“jack
of all trades”), what they usually do:
-
i) 2D animation (explainer video, animated
characters, textual animations, etc)
- ii) Website & mobile app design (usually
front-end design, but will know more about animating the elements)
- iii) Visual effects on videos (YouTube opening animation etc.)
